Credit Usage
Learn which actions consume credits.
Credits are the internal currency for usage-based features in AIQUA and AIRIS, and are consumed only when you perform an action that requires them. This page lists which actions consume credits, how many, and how to monitor and manage your usage. You can see your current credit usage in the usage dashboard.
- Your credit balance is shared across all of your organization's products and features, including AIQUA, AIRIS, and Appier AI Agent.
- The monthly credit quota resets at the beginning of each calendar month and doesn't carry over to the next month. If your usage exceeds your current balance, credit overage charges are incurred.

Credit rates may change as new features are released and improved. For the latest information, contact your customer success manager.
Appier AI Agent

| Segment proposal | 5 credits per proposal | Charged each time the agent provides a segment proposal. |
| Predictive segment creation | 10 credits per segment | Charged each time a predictive segment is created. This is in addition to the credits consumed by the segment proposal. |
| Image proposal | 1 credit per proposal | Charged each time the agent provides an image proposal. |
Recommendation Lite
Recommendation Core plans don't use credit-based pricing. To upgrade, contact your customer success manager.

AIRIS
The following table lists the AIRIS feature that consumes credits.

| Automation | Running scheduled batches, syncing/exporting segments, triggers, executing email report subscriptions, and keeping real-time triggers active |
Report costs vary with the data scanned and the report's complexity: standard reports (Profile, Activity, Trend, Journey) cost less, while advanced reports (Attribution, Cohort, Retention, Correlation) cost more. Adding more dimensions or formulas raises the cost further.

Use these tips to make the most out of your AIRIS credits.
Optimize automation usage
- Schedule recurring jobs at the lowest frequency that meets your business needs.
- Review and disable unnecessary automations.
Optimize report usage
- Use filters and smaller timeframes.
- Minimize unnecessary formulas and complex calculated metrics.
- Preview or sample a small amount of data before running a full report.
Manage prediction caps
- Monitor prediction usage and adjust caps as needed.
- Raise caps temporarily when needed, for example, during campaigns, then lower them afterward. To change your daily prediction cap, contact Appier Support ([email protected]).
